Adoption update: Lucy’s life of luxury

Lucy was rescued from a local shelter here in Ontario and found Richard who adopted her two years ago in May of 2011. She now lives just outside of Thunder Bay and spends her days taking on all sorts of activities. From visits to the local post office to car rides and speeding around in her snowmobile, she keeps busy and active with her daddy!

She definitely has him wrapped around her little paw. Richard gets great joy watching her play with her toys, killing them the way Jacks do and gives in to her every whim from daily treats to her telling him that she’s done with walking by plunking her rear end on the ground! “That’s it Daddy, no more.” And of course, who gets carried after lifting her paws from icy snow? Yup. Can anyone else relate?

One of Lucy’s most favourite things to do is gardening!! She pulls carrots and peas with her partner-in-crime, Nina (Richard’s daughter’s JRT who visits from NS) and they both munch on them right in the garden! Yes, it’s almost that time of year again, Lucy. Hope you’ll enjoy this year’s harvest just as much!

I have adopted my own Lucy from JRTRO, and couldn’t love her more. Your little girl is adorable and looks like she is living life to the fullest.
