Welcome to Jack Russell Terrier Rescue Ontario!

We are a volunteer run organization committed to finding homes and care for needy Jacks. If you can help by adopting or fostering a Jack Russell, please complete the appropriate form below and we’ll be in touch! Clicking on the Adoptable Jacks link will take you to our PetFinder page.

Thinking of fostering?

  • if you are knowledgeable about the JRT personality and temperament;
  • if you have lots of time every day;
  • if you have an abundance of patience to train and rehabilitate a Jack;
  • if you have the right home environment;

…then fostering a frightened, abandoned, and sometimes abused little soul may be right for you. If you see yourself doing this valuable work for JRTRO, then we need you to complete our foster application.

The animal lovers at Westjet have really come through for JRTRO! They donated an amazingly generous prize to the Rescue Roundup that will be raffled off to raise much needed dollars for the rescue. You can bet we’ll all be flying with this Animal Lovin’ Airline in future and if we already were… we intend to STAY with you!!! Thanks from all of us and all of our rescues.

Please donate to help us help Jacks!

Donations are always needed and gratefully received. You can send an e-transfer to jrtrobusiness@gmail.com or send a cheque made payable to “JRT Rescue” and mailed to Linda Klan at 2 Withrow Avenue, Unit 2, Toronto M4K 1C9.

We are looking into being able to provide tax receipts in the near future, as soon as we have that ability, the website will be updated to reflect that.

JRTRO is happy to send out cards if you make a donation on someone’s behalf, either in celebration or in memoriam. Just drop a note with the relevant information along with your cheque or e-transfer or send the information separately to Linda at jrtrobusiness@gmail.com.

Thank you in advance for any donation you may make, every little bit helps us save more Jacks!

You can make a donation securely via PayPal.
