Featured Jack: Fuzz
Would you be my foster home?
Because of a lack of foster homes we have to turn away dogs in need. A short-term commitment, a world of difference for a Jack. Apply to Foster today!
We are a volunteer run organization committed to finding homes and care for needy Jacks. If you can help by adopting or fostering a Jack Russell, please complete the appropriate form below and we’ll be in touch! Clicking on the Adoptable Jacks link will take you to our PetFinder page.
JRTRO uses foster homes to avoid turning away the many abused, neglected or abandoned dogs that come to our rescue for help. These dogs do not do well in a shelter environment, and having a short-stay foster placement is a critical step towards finding them forever homes.
If you can open your home for just a short time to a needy Jack it would make all the difference in the world for that dog’s future. Please understand that not every dog is perfect for every home and our goal is to ensure that once a dog enters rescue that his/her life gets better from that moment on.
If you are interested in fostering, please complete this form.
Donations are always needed and gratefully received. Cheques can be made payable to JRT Rescue and mailed to Linda Klan at 2 Withrow Avenue, Unit 2, Toronto M4K 1C9.
If you require a tax receipt, you can also donate through CanadaHelps for Charities.
JRTRO is happy to send out cards if you make a donation on someone’s behalf, either in celebration or in memoriam. Just drop a note with the relevant information along with your cheque or if making a donation through CanadaHelps for Charities, or send the information to Linda at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you in advance for any donation you may make, every little bit helps us save more Jacks!
